Send a Letter Supporting the
Technical Amendment to San Luis Obispo County
Highway 1 Needs to allow Caltrans to consider allocating
$23 Million for Highway 1 and help fund the
Hearst Ranch Conservation Project

On May 5th, 2004, SLOCOG will consider a technical admendment required which will allow the California Transportation Commission (CTC) to consider a grant request by Caltrans allocating $23 million for the realignment of HIghway 1 protecting our sceninc coastline for the next 100 years. It is also vital for the completion of the Hearst Ranch Conservation Project as it provides a necessary component of the funding for the project and consists of mostly federal dollars saving the State precious conservation dollars.

Please join us by sending a letter of support for this technical admendment.
